Custom plaque mounting is an alternative method to picture framing. It provides a simple, clean and elegant form of presentation and protection of your photography. Plaques have been a trend for more than 30 years; it is highly demanded for home décor, personalized photo gifts and business wall art.

All of our photo plaque mounts can be personalized with text messages, names, captions, photo colorization options, different laminate finishes and edge colors. All of your digital artwork undergoes an extensive color matching process to ensure the final print is of impeccable quality and captures the fine details and colors in your photographs.

Our plaque products are not the same as the conventional wood trophy plaques. Instead, we use very high-end digital printers to print your artwork on premium photography grade media. Your print is then laminated using our liquid coater and roll laminators to apply a protective film on top of your image as well as a aggressive adhesive along the underside of the artwork. The laminated artwork is then heat pressed onto various types of wood substrates from North American paper mills. The photo mounted plaque is then beveled and masked with a moisture resistant coating along the edges of the plaque. We offer 4 standard choices of edge colors (Black, White, Gold and Silver). The plaques are then key-holed along the back side according to the orientation of the artwork.

We use the finest grade of components to maximize the longevity and protection on every plaque. All of our plaques are 100% compliant with the CPSIA or Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act.

Did you know?
Almost all Canadian “Big Box” stores/photo labs resell plaks supplied by a mass volume manufacturer located in the Greater Toronto Area. Based on independent studies, it was found that they use very low quality, off-shore laminating films, toxic spray adhesives and imported wood containing high levels of formaldehyde which produce off-gasses. Over time the plaque mounted photos begin to delaminate and deteriorate, the wood begins to warp, and the edges crack. That is why they are being sold for such a cheap price!
